Overview
This website is a personal portfolio. It is built to collect as little personal data as possible. Controller within the meaning of the GDPR is Boris Fründt (contact details in the imprint).
Hosting & server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit, your browser transmits technical data (e.g. IP address, user agent, time) that Vercel processes to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the site).
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate usage and performance. These are privacy‑friendly and do not set advertising cookies or build cross‑site profiles. No data is sold.
AI chat assistant
The optional chat sends the messages you type to an AI model via the Vercel AI Gateway (model provider: Anthropic) to generate answers. A transcript of your conversation may be emailed to the site owner (delivered via Resend) so he can respond and improve the assistant. Please do not enter sensitive personal data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f)/(a) GDPR. Use of the chat is voluntary. A random session identifier is stored in your browser's sessionStorage for the duration of your visit.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, email hey@boris.io.
